Now there's a lot of lace out there, don't get me wrong, but it's really not all that hard to tell if you've come across good or bad lace. And here, I will show you some examples.
The best lace is thick, very smooth and silky, delicate, and has non-blocky details. A good example is shown to the right ---------------------------------------->
Good, or 'okay' lace is not as delicate, and not as thick and pretty. The details can still be good, but it's not great. It may also have a plastic-like shine to it. Another picture is shown, and notice how it's also a little

Bad lace is cheap, blocky, not very delicate, and the details are mediocre. The plastic shine is very prominent and it's not very attractive, please note that it's also very thin. A picture is shown ---------------->
